There is a decent novice chase – for the time of year – at Stratford on Wednesday, in which Seddon (12:45) is fancied to score for Tom George, Adrian Heskin and the McNeill Family.
The seven-year-old hasn’t won since winning a novice hurdle at this track in November 2018, but he looked very good that day, and he also showed plenty of natural speed when winning a Musselburgh bumper the previous season. Having missed the whole of last season, he has been off the track since April 2019, but has won first time out in each of his two seasons, so I would expect him to be ready for this return.
