A maiden winner at Thirsk recently, A STAR ABOVE (7:45) looks to be on a nice mark as he enters handicap company at Leicester on Tuesday.
William Haggas’ Sea The Stars gelding was quite keen early on that reappearance, but stayed on really well in the closing stages to fend off the second, with the pair nicely clear. He should prove better than 76 in time, and is taken to follow up under Tom Marquand.
