Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Thursday; Sly Minx in the Catterick 3.20. Compare odds and bet.
Thursday’s racing doesn’t make too much appeal, but Sly Minx (3:20) might be capable of shedding her maiden tag at the sixth time of asking.
Mick Channon’s Sixties Icon filly took her chance in the Oaks Trial at Lingfield on reappearance, then enjoyed the run of the race at Beverley, when runner-up. The pick of her form is third from Newmarket last October, when she was just two lengths off Trefoil, with Derby favourite back in seventh. She might be hard to pass here.
Thursday’s selection:
3:20 Catterick – Sly Minx; 5/4 William Hill
