Paul Ferguson has two selections from Royal Ascot on Saturday; More Beautiful at 1.15 and Admiral Nelson at 1.50. Compare odds and bet.
There are some very exciting two-year-old’s in action on the final day of Royal Ascot, and this year’s Queen Mary looks a hot renewal, with Sacred among those who made an impressive winning debut.
However, I was very taken with the performance of More Beautiful (1:15) at Naas, and the War Front filly can initiate a two-year-old race double for Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore. A half-sister to Saxon Warrior, I did think that she might have gone up to 6f, but with the stiff finish on easy ground likely to play to her strengths, she can maintain her unbeaten record.
Likewise, the Coventry looks a good renewal, but Admiral Nelson (1:50) could hardly have made a better impression on his debut just eight days ago, and is taken to provide O’Brien with a 10th win in the race.
An imposing son of Kingman, he came from off the pace to run down a more-fancied stable-mate (according to the market, at least), and the extra furlong should suit.
