Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Tuesday; Cold Front in the Kempton 3:20. Compare odds and bet.
Runner-up on his racecourse debut at Newbury last October, Cold Front (3:20) is fancied to go one better at Kempton on Tuesday.
William Haggas’ Lope de Vega colt broke well and almost made all, looking the likely winner as he lengthened at the furlong pole. Run down late on by another potentially smart prospect (With Respect), the selection was in front almost everywhere bar the line, and sets a decent standard in the 6f maiden.
Later on the card, it will be intriguing to see how smart bumper mare The Glancing Queen fares in the extended 1m3f maiden. A Grade 2 winner in that sphere (Aintree, last April), she ran in the Champion Bumper for the second time in March, and is a very interesting recruit for her dual-purpose stable. This doesn’t look a bad race on paper, however, and she has to give plenty of weight to the three-year-olds, so maybe best watched on this occasion.
