Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Saturday; Palmers Hill in the Kempton 12:40. Compare odds and bet.
Off the track for 461 days PALMERS HILL (12:40) is worth chancing in the opener from Kempton on Saturday.
The lightly-raced seven-year-old was last seen winning a handicap at Cheltenham’s November meeting in 2018, and although that wasn’t the strongest event by the track’s standards, he won it in the manner of a horse who has much more to offer.
Clearly things haven’t gone to plan since, but his two hurdles wins come on reappearance, so he clearly goes well fresh, and with Jonjo O’Neill’s horses continuing to run well, he is given the nod in this 17-runner field.
Fresh from a wind-operation, Nicky Henderson’s Downtown Getaway is another to note in the same race.
Saturday’s selection:
12:40 Kempton – Palmers Hill; 5/1 BetVictor
