Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Tuesday; Prudhomme in the 15:00 and Wishing And Hoping 15:30 both at Taunton. Compare odds and bet.
Nick and Chester Williams provided us with a winner yesterday when Le Cameleon scored nicely at Chepstow and the duo team up again with Prudhomme (3:00) who finished just behind his stable-mate, when disappointing at Ffos Las last time.
He had earlier created a really good impression when successful on his hurdling debut and he has since undergone wind surgery. The five-year-old shouldn’t mind this slightly longer trip and makes his handicap debut from a reasonable looking mark. He initially opened up 13-2 (soon shortening on Thursday evening) and should be backed each-way, in what looks a decent little event.
Captain Cattistock is an exciting recruit to the hunters’ chase division, but a chance is taken with Wishing And Hoping (3:30) who opened at 3-1 with a couple of firms and is another who was being supported in the early market.
The 10-year-old was lightly-raced for Alan King, but has thrived in Point-to-Points for Philip Rowley and Alex Edwards, and should relish this sharp track. He looks to possess plenty of pace and might well put it up to the market leader.
Tuesday’s selections:
3:00 Taunton – Prudhomme; 4/1 Unibet
3:30 Taunton – Wishing And Hoping; 7/4 Paddy Power
