Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Friday; Harry Senior in the Chepstow 12:30 and Ragnar Lodbrok in the Leopardstown 3.30. Compare odds and bet.
Some top-class action from both sides of the Irish Sea, with perhaps the pick of Friday’s racing once again coming from Leopardstown.
The Graded races obviously take centre stage, but I am also looking forward to seeing RAGNAR LODBROK (3:30) in the concluding bumper, following his highly encouraging racecourse debut at Fairyhouse. A big eye-catcher in third, he is bred to stay well, so should cope with the step up in distance.
Domestically, HARRY SENIOR (12:30) is taken to get off the mark over hurdles in the opening event from Chepstow.
Fourth at this track on debut, he has since chased home two nice prospects and ought to relish the extra couple of furlongs. Colin Tizzard’s five-year-old hasn’t done much wrong and can put his experience to good use here.
