Chepstow stages a good card on Tuesday, where FINAWN BAWN (3:25) is fancied to make a winning chase debut for Olly Murphy and Richard Johnson.
The six-year-old won twice over hurdles last season but looks all over a staying chaser in waiting and he ought to relish the longer trip. The son of Robin Des Champs should also appreciate the easy ground and having had just five runs in his life, he remains open to considerable improvement.
Murphy introduced a high-class prospect over fences last week in the shape of Brewin’upastorm and all three of his weekend runners shaped well, finishing second. His yard remains in good form.
Tuesday’s selection:
3:25 Chepstow – Finawn Bawn; 4/1 William Hill
