Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; Prefontaine in the Huntingon 1.35. Compare odds and bet.
Jumps action returns to both Bangor and Huntingdon on Wednesday and PREFONTAINE (1:35) is an interesting recruit in the opening juvenile hurdle at the Cambridgeshire track.
The grey son of Mastercraftsman was a winner on good-to-soft ground at Nottingham as a two-year-old and he bumped into a couple of smart handicappers on his final two starts for Roger Varian.
Third behind Durston at Chester in June, he filled the same spot behind Sir Ron Priestley (who actually beat Durston at Glorious Goodwood before winning a Group 3) in a competitive 1m6f handicap at Haydock. That form reads really well now, with the third and fourth also having since won, and Prefontaine makes his debut at a time when the Jonjo O’Neill yard continues in good form.
If he jumps proficiently on debut, he has the class to win under Jonjo Junior.
Wednesday’s selection:
1:35 Huntingdon – Prefontaine; 13/8 Unibet
