An impressive winner at Newbury last month Qarasu (4:30) is taken to continue his progression at Haydock on Friday.
Roger Charlton’s Le Havre colt was bouncing back from a disappointing effort at Newmarket and it would appear that he relished the softer ground in Berkshire. A decent winner on soft at Windsor, too, conditions should be in his favour at the Merseyside track, and he might well be up to defying a 9lbs higher mark.
