A game a winner at Chester a fortnight ago Hereby (2:30) can defy a 3lbs rise at Pontefract on Sunday.
Ralph Beckett’s well-bred Pivotal filly has won both starts when racing with any ease in the ground, so won’t mind any further rain. She showed a fine attitude to win on handicap debut last time and the runner-up advertised the form when winning earlier this week.
