Following an encouraging return to action in France recently, SEVEN DE BAUNE (3:00) is fancied to make a winning chase debut at Uttoxeter on Sunday.
Ian Williams’ six-year-old won his bumper at the Midlands track and looked a decent prospect, both then and when finishing runner-up in an Irish Point-to-Point. He showed a fair amount of pace on both occasions, and conditions look ideal for this debut over fences.
This looks a competitive little event, but the selection remains lightly raced and could have plenty more to offer.
