Following a promising debut at Kempton, MUTAMAASIK (9:05) is taken to go one better at Wolverhampton tonight.
Wide throughout, Roger Varian’s Dubawi gelding ran on strongly to finish a clear second and he sets the standard. The Varian stable remains in fine form (five winners in all on Saturday, including a Royal Ascot double) and the Newmarket handler has a fine record at this track (four winners from 15 runners this season).
