Despite being off the track for 13 months, Dermot Weld’s Broad Street (5:30) is fancied to make a winning return at Gowran this afternoon.
The Sea The Stars colt made an impressive winning racecourse debut at Navan last May and the race has worked out well since. He holds a Group 1 entry (in the Irish St Leger) and looked a very bright prospect on his sole start to date. Bet365 opened up 7-4 on Saturday evening and although he faces at least one useful rival, he can make it two from two.
