Mick Channon’s five-year-old only went up 5lbs on Tuesday, so I’m slightly surprised to see him rushed out under a 5lbs penalty, but he appeared to win with a bit in hand at the weekend and should relish the extra furlong. Scott McCullagh takes a handy 7lbs off and he was on board when the selection won at Windsor last August. This looks a winnable race.
