Having twice gone well at the track previously SPECIAL ACCEPTANCE (4:05) can finally shed his maiden tag at Kempton on Monday.
Paul Webber’s six-year-old shaped with promise in a bumper here last February and also on his hurdling debut in November. Runner-up at Huntingdon a couple of starts later, he clearly handles tight right-handed tracks, and he shaped with yet more promise in a Fontwell handicap last time. The return to a sounder surface and today’s longer trip might help him travel that bit better, and he remains a horse of interest.
