Disappointing when last sighted Starjac (3:55) had earlier shown enough promise to suggest he can win races over hurdles and he is given another chance at Uttoxeter.
Paul Webber’s grey made a hugely encouraging debut over hurdles at this track back in early-October and he has been dropped 3lbs for that latest effort. Conditions should be suitable and if Gavin Sheehan can switch him off over today’s longer trip, he could be capable of going well in this competitive 20-runner race. He looks worthy of each-way support on what looks a relatively quiet Saturday.
