The bumper at Naas looks a decent event on Sunday, with Gigginstown House Stud holding a strong hand. Column of Fire boasts plenty of experience, having had a couple of runs over hurdles, but Midnight Run (5:05) looked good on debut and then got to within 5 lengths of Champion Bumper favourite, Envoi Allen.
A full brother to last year’s Champion Bumper second Carefully Selected, Midnight Run seems happy on a decent surface and he is taken to return to winning ways.
