Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Saturday; Time To Move On in the Wetherby 12:05 and Noble Robin 13:55 at Chepstow. Compare odds and bet.
Pulled-up when last seen back in February, Noble Robin (1:55) is worth chancing on his chase debut at Chepstow this afternoon, with conditions to suit.
Jonjo O’Neill’s seven-year-old was a former Irish Point-to-Point winner and looked a really nice prospect when winning over hurdles in the mud at Ffos Las and Wetherby. An imposing son of the recently ill-fated Robin des Champs, it is likely that he will be fully tuned up for this reappearance given his profile and he can score under Nick Scholfield.
There are plenty of nice youngsters on show this afternoon – particularly in novice hurdles in the early part of the afternoon – and one is Time To Move On (12:05) who is given the vote over Two For Gold in the opener at Wetherby.
Fergal O’Brien’s dual bumper winner ought to relish the step up in trip and will handle the soft ground, so looks to have everything in his favour for this hurdling debut. It doesn’t look the deepest of races, although Kim Bailey’s runner also won twice in bumpers and has the benefit of a previous run over hurdles. It should be a good race between the pair.
Saturday’s selections:
12:05 Wetherby – Time To Move On; 5/6 Ladbrokes
1:55 Chepstow – Noble Robin; 6/1 BetVictor
