It took Jet Set (1:50) five attempts to get off the mark over hurdles last season, but Charlie Longsdon’s mare looks a really nice prospect for fences and makes her chase debut at Fontwell this afternoon.
The daughter of Getaway was an impressive winner of her sole Irish Point-to-Point and I’m hopeful that she can step forward considerably now she goes chasing. Good ground seems to be the key to her, so it is hoped that the West Sussex track avoids any overnight rain.
