This evening’s fillies’ novice stakes from Kempton looks a decent event, with Rare having shaped with plenty of promise on debut.
However, I was taken with the victory of ELASIA (7:40) at Newcastle last time and she might well be up to carrying a penalty to success under Andrea Atzeni.
Roger Varian’s Nathaniel filly stepped forward from her debut effort at Haydock and looked one to keep onside with the manner of her victory last month. The runner-up came out and franked that form by winning easily last week and she looks to be a progressive three-year-old.
