The Galway Festival gets underway today and high-class hurdler LIMINI (7:40) can make a winning return to action on the level.
She’s not run on the Flat since her days in France, but a mark of 89 could well underestimate her, despite the fact that we’ve not seen her since the 2017 Cheltenham Festival.
She held entries earlier in the season, so has clearly been back in for a while and this race was nominated as a likely target by Patrick Mullins.
Earlier on the card MOTCOMB STREET (5:55) is of some interest in the handicap hurdle.
An eye-catcher on more than one occasion – including last month on the Flat when I also put him up – the five-year-old looks on a fair mark and is worthy of each-way support (9-1 overnight).
