Expensive to follow during the past couple of seasons – I know this only too well – I’m prepared to give MINELLA SUITE (3:50) one last chance today at Cartmel.
I’ve always thought he might appreciate quicker ground; the tight track shouldn’t be an issue over this trip as he travels strongly; he was running well before falling on his reappearance last year; and he returns to action with the Rose Dobbin stable in great form, with her saddling a treble at Perth last week.
Down to a mark of 96, he wears cheek pieces for the first time here and will, hopefully, be overlooked in the market, given he’s up against a trio of in-form rivals.
