Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Saturday; Taxmeifyoucan in the Kelso 14:25. Compare odds and bet.
Two from three over hurdles to date Taxmeifyoucan (2:25) looks reasonably treated on his handicap debut at Kelso this afternoon.
Keith Dalgleish’s juvenile – who actually holds an entry in the Grade 1 at Aintree on Thursday – was a winner at Stratford last July, after which he unseated at Hexham. A progressive middle distance/stayer on the level (won three times since that Stratford success), he beat subsequent EBF Final winner Sam’s Gunner on heavy ground over course-and-distance in February, so conditions look ideal. The form of his Stratford victory also reads well now and, given his ability to handle testing ground, he looks a big player here off 130 and with a 6lbs weight-for-age allowance.
Saturday’s selection:
2:25 Kelso – Taxmeifyoucan; 11/4 Bet365
