Southwell stages a decent 2m handicap on Tuesday, but COEUR DE LION (3:25) ran some solid races in decent handicaps on the level last term and is taken to justify favouritism.
Alan King’s five-year-old failed to get competitive from marks in the 140s in a couple of handicap hurdles this winter, but remains on favourable Flat mark (83).
With the King yard in good form, he looks the one to beat if taking to the surface.
