Though we haven’t seen her yet this season OH MICHELLE (3:30) is of interest on her belated hurdling debut, should Hereford pass a morning inspection.
Placed on three occasions from four starts in bumpers last term – latterly when third behind the smart pairing of Dame Rose and Maria’s Benefit – she shaped like a stayer and ought to relish today’s longer trip.
She has form on soft ground and that latest Doncaster form now reads particularly well (race has thrown up plenty of subsequent winners). There is plenty of stamina in her pedigree and, assuming she’s wound up (not normally an issue from this yard), she can go well.
