Scotland correspondent Jack Milner previews this weekend’s Scottish football action.
Michael O’Neill is 4/5 at BetVictor to be the next manager of Scotland after his Northern Ireland side were controversially beaten by Switzerland in the World Cup play-offs earlier in the week. It is well documented that O’Neill lives in Edinburgh although he is also 5/1 third favourite for the vacant Rangers post behind Derek McInnes and Graeme Murty who are 5/4 joint favourites.
Aberdeen (8/11) look a very fair price at Pittodrie today to beat a Motherwell side who have lost their last two and the Dons remain odds on favourites (5/6) to win the Premiership without leaders Celtic.
Celtic are 25/1 to beat PSG in Paris on Wednesday back in the Champions League and are 66/1 at BetVictor to win the Europa League. They are not yet assured of third place in their group but that price shows just what a strong competition it is this season.
