Two from two at the track over hurdles THEO’S CHARM (4:00) can shoulder top weight to success in this afternoon’s novices’ handicap chase at Plumpton.
The seven-year-old made his debut over fences at this track last December, when he shaped well behind Theinval. After a couple more chase starts, he reverted to the smaller obstacles, finishing a sound third at Haydock before finishing midfield in the Pertemps Final.
At his best on an easy surface and he goes well fresh (ran well at Kempton on his hurdles debut two years ago and finished runner-up in the Fixed Brush Hurdle on reappearance last term), so today could be the time to catch him.
