Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Wednesday; Kodtime in the 3:00 at Goodwood and Balko des Flos in the 5:35 at Galway.
With the slower ground likely to suit KODITIME (3:00) looks capable of going well in this afternoon’s Molecomb Stakes.
A winner at Doncaster on debut, he travelled really well on soft ground at Newbury – failed to get home over 6f – before finishing eighth in the Norfolk Stakes.
The Kodiac colt wandered off a straight line that day, finding himself in the middle of the track and looks capable of going well at rewarding odds.
Over at Galway BALKO DES FLOS (5:35) is another to back each-way in the Galway Plate.
Henry de Bromhead’s six-year-old kept good company as a novice last season – finishing third behind Disko and Our Duke in the Flogas in February – and ran on well to grab third in a strong novice handicap at Punchestown last time.
Again, the slower ground will be more to his liking this afternoon and he looks capable of providing Gigginstown House Stud with a third win in the valuable contest since 2014.
Wednesday’s selections:
3:00 Glorious Goodwood – Koditime; 20/1 betvictor
5:35 Galway – Balko des Flos; 7/1 Ladbrokes
