SO CELEBRE (8:10) has done well over hurdles since last seen on the level and he is of interest at Haydock this evening.
Runner-up at Yarmouth on his last start on the Flat, he earlier won a Salisbury handicap off an 8lbs lower mark. Since then, he ran five times over hurdles, winning a maiden at Huntingdon and impressively landing an Ascot handicap off 125.
He suffered trouble in running at Aintree last time (travelled strongly) and he looks capable of making an impact off 76 on his return to the Flat. Hopefully the ground will continue to dry out.
