Runner-to to subsequent Irish 1,000 Guineas winner and stable-mate Winter in the Newmarket equivalent RHODODENDRON (4:30) is fancied to gain Classic compensation in this afternoon’s Investec Oaks.
Last year’s Fillies’ Mile winner was hampered at a crucial stage in the 1,000 Guineas and the form was obviously well advertised last weekend. Bred to appreciate the longer trip, the daughter of Galileo is very much the one to beat on form and deservedly heads the market.
