Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; Ballymountain Boy in the Ludlow 1:45. Compare odds and bet.
Ludlow’s opening maiden hurdle sees Evan Williams’ Oxwich Bay attempt to get off the mark at the second time of asking and, with Robinshill advertising his form since, he certainly sets the standard.
However, BALLYMOUNTAIN BOY (1:45) has also looked a promising type in bumpers and, at the prices (9/2 best overnight), is given the nod.
Martin Keighley’s six-year-old shaped well on debut at Newton Abbot and bumped into the hugely exciting Neon Wolf (won twice over timber since) on his penultimate start. A winner at Huntingdon on Boxing Day, the former winning Irish pointer might well be capable of winning first time up over hurdles.
Wednesday’s selections:
1:45 Ludlow – Ballymountain Boy; 4/1 skybet
