Paul Ferguson has one selection from Tipperary on Sunday; Black Ace at 5.45 Compare odds and bet.
The bumper at Tipperary on Sunday looks a decent contest for the time of year, in which Golden Poet is likely to be popular on the back of last month’s Kilbeggan success, but preference is for Black Ace (5:45) who looked very promising when winning a bumper at the same track back in May.
Noel Meade’s Yeats gelding had earlier chased home stable-mate A Genie In Abottle in a maiden point at Bartlemy, in a race that has worked out pretty well (front four have all won under rules). The form of his Kilbeggan success also now reads well, with third home Carrig Cathal winning twice over hurdles since, and the five-year-old is taken to make it two from two under Nina Carberry.
Sunday’s selection:
5:45 Tipperary: Black Ace; 15/8 Skybet
