Beaten by Poet’s Word, who I’m looking forward to seeing in action at Epsom on Saturday, at Nottingham last month, the Dansili colt had earlier finished third in the Wood Ditton and holds a King Edward VII entry.
The grey steps up to 1m4f here and looks as though he will appreciate the extra couple of furlongs.
