Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Monday; Nightfly in the Warwick 17:30. Compare odds and bet.
This afternoon’s bumper at Warwick has been split into two divisions and, while the Alan King-trained Azzerti is of interest in division one, Charlie Longsdon’s Nightfly (5:30) makes more appeal from a betting perspective in the second division.
The former shaped well on debut at Kempton, while the selection ran a race full of promise when chasing home Little Miss Poet (entered in Aintree’s Listed bumper on Thursday) in a mares’ contest over course-and-distance.
The daughter of Midnight Legend was giving 9lbs to the first and third, eventually going down by a length-and-a-quarter to Philip Hobbs’ odds on shot. The third has come out and won since and, though she takes on the boys today, she sets a fair standard.
Monday’s selection:
5:30 Warwick: Nightfly; 13/8 Betfred
