Paul Ferguson has two selections from Warwick for us on Wednesday; Drumlee Sunset in the 2.40 and Phobiaphiliac at 5.20. Compare odds and bet.
Though he has been a little disappointing overall this season DRUMLEE SUNSET (2:40) has been keeping fairly decent company and can get off the mark at Warwick on Wednesday.
Philip Hobbs’ Exeter bumper winner has raced exclusively at Cheltenham over hurdles to date and, given how keen he can be, the drop back to 2m shouldn’t be an inconvenience.
The better ground should also be in his favour and he sets the standard.
Later on the card PHOBIAPHILIAC (5:20) is of interest in the concluding bumper, having shaped with promise on debut at Kempton last month.
Nicky Henderson’s five-year-old eventually finished in sixth position, but moved well throughout and clearly possesses a fair amount of ability.
There are several unknown quantities in opposition representing powerful connections, so this could be a decent race. However, the selection looked a future winner on debut.
Wednesday’s selections:
2:40 Warwick – Drumlee Sunset; 5/6 Paddy Power
5:20 Warwick – Phobiaphiliac; 11/1 betvictor
