After an encouraging third on debut at Market Rasen SAKHEE’S CITY (2:30) is worth supporting in division one of Catterick’s maiden hurdle on Tuesday.
Philip Kirby’s five-year-old had shown promise in bumpers last term and belied odds of 50-1 when getting to within five lengths of the useful Paddy’s Field.
Given how he went through the race, the drop in trip looks in his favour. He travelled well for a long way and is capable of another bold show, under Adam Nicol.
