Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Tuesday; Sharpasaknife in the Market Rasen 15:05. Compare odds and bet.
Despite just four novice hurdlers going to post, Market Rasen’s EBF qualifier looks a decent little contest on Tuesday.
Point The Way probably has just about the best form on offer, but he has a double penalty to contend with and this comes soon enough after his most recent success (13 days), whilst Onefitzall has been off since finishing third in November.
Tanarpino arrives here on a hat-trick and, given he won a heavy ground handicap at the course last time, can’t be dismissed lightly either, but preference is for SHARPASAKNIFE (3:05).
Despite his inexperience (compared with the other trio) Malcolm Jefferson’s runner looks capable of going well, judged on his debut success at Wetherby last month.
Sent off 16-1, the well bred Flemensfirth gelding travelled really well and won by 11 lengths, drawing away in taking fashion after the last. The form doesn’t amount to a great deal, but he certainly impressed with the manner of victory and he looks a potentially useful sort.
Tuesday’s selection:
3:05 Market Rasen – Sharpasaknife; 15/8 Skybet
