However, a chance is taken on GUNNER FIFTEEN (3:00) at the foot of the weights for Harry Fry.
Another heavy ground specialist, the eight-year-old won a bumper and a novice hurdle at Uttoxeter for Fergal O’Brien and he has been heavily backed on both starts for the Fry yard.
The headstrong son of Westerner is now switched to chasing and, though he failed to deliver what the market expected on both starts this term, the former winning Irish pointer might just come into his own over the larger obstacles.
