Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Friday; The Unit in the Huntingdon 13:50. Compare odds and bet.
Despite finishing no better than seventh on his reappearance in the bumper at Cheltenham’s Open meeting THE UNIT (1:50) can make a winning hurdling debut at Huntingdon on Friday.
Alan King’s Gold Well gelding finished third in a decent Kempton bumper on debut last term, before winning the valuable DBS bumper at Newbury, where he saw off dual hurdles scorers McKenzie’s Friend by a head, with subsequent Ascot bumper winner Cultivator back in third.
The five-year-old handles soft ground and appears to have been found a nice opportunity to open his account at the first time of asking.
