The winner of a maiden hurdle over course-and-distance four weeks ago UNBUCKLED (1:50) is capable of going close under her penalty at Doncaster this afternoon.
Neil King’s Presenting mare faces a couple of smart prospects here in the shape of Le Prezien (form horse) and Knocknanuss (highly regarded point-to-point and bumper winner in Ireland), but she looks a bet to nothing each-way at the overnight odds (5/1).
The six-year-old was given plenty to do here last month, but still reeled in the leaders and it is assumed she will be ridden closer to the pace today. If she copes with the deeper ground, she will run a big race under Trevor Whelan.
