Paul Ferguson two selections from Kempton for us on Sunday; Vaniteux in the 1.05 and Two Taffs at 3.25. Compare odds and bet.
Despite being a maiden TWO TAFFS (3:40) is fancied to land the concluding handicap hurdle at Kempton on Sunday.
Dan Skelton’s five-year-old won a Market Rasen bumper last term and only a final flight blunder prevented him from making a winning hurdling debut at Bangor in late October.
Since then, the imposing son of Flemensfirth finished runner-up in a warm novice hurdle over today’s course-and-distance and he looks to have been handed an attractive opening mark (125), given the eighth home has won handicaps off 113 and 120 since. The third, Theo’s Charm, has also franked the form.
Earlier on the card VANITEUX (1:25) can make it two from two over fences in the Wayward Lad Novices’ Chase.
Nicky Henderson’s high-class hurdler impressed on his debut over fences when scoring over course-and-distance, jumping particularly fluently.
The Voix Du Nord six-year-old faces Henry VIII winner Ar Mad here, but the selection looked a very smart prospect on debut and is fancied to maintain his 100% record over the larger obstacles.
Sunday’s selections:
1:25 Kempton – Vaniteux; 10/11 Skybet
3:40 Kempton – Two Taffs; 10/3 Stan James
