Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Monday; Little Acorn in the Lingfield 15:40. Compare odds and bet.
Lingfield stages a decent beginners’ chase on Monday, a race that could throw up a few future winners, while the bumper is also an interesting contest.
Briac is respected on debut for Jim Best and Mr Mountain is probably capable of much better than he showed on his rules debut last term.
But, LITTLE ACORN (3:40) caught the eye in a decent mares’ bumper at Taunton in March and she represents the in-form Harry Fry stable.
The Presenting filly is very well bred and lost ground turning in on debut, having moved smoothly throughout. She looks more than capable of winning a bumper before she goes hurdling.
Monday’s selection:
3:40 Lingfield – Little Acorn; 13/8 bet365
