Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Shanandoa in the Fakenham 1.20. Compare odds and bet.
Aintree bumper winner Hollies Pearl sets the standard in the mares’ novices’ hurdle at Fakenham on Sunday, but I’m not sure 2m around this sharp track will play to her strengths.
With that in mind, it is worth taking a chance on hurdling debutant Shanandoa (1:20) who showed plenty of pace when winning an all-weather bumper recently.
Brian Barr’s four-year-old has some decent form in the book in defeat in bumpers also and, in the hope that the two previous winners make the market, Gavin Sheehan’s mount looks worth a small interest.
Sunday’s selection:
1:20 Fakenham: Shanandoa; 10/1 Skybet
