Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Thursday; Robinesse in the Exeter 12:50. Compare odds and bet.
Jessber’s Dream sets the standard in Exeter’s opening mares’ novices’ hurdle and deserves her place at the head of the market.
But, at the prices, ROBINESSE (12:50) is worth a small each-way interest on her hurdles debut.
Oliver Sherwood’s Robin Des Champs filly finished strongly when winning a bumper at Uttoxeter in May and, though she was well beaten on her return, she remains a useful prospect.
The four-year-old ran in a hot event at Cheltenham on her reappearance, at a time when the Sherwood horses were needing the run, and, though she has yet to encounter testing ground, you would expect her to handle it on breeding at least.
At 8-1 overnight, she might well be capable of hitting the frame, or even putting it up to the penalised market leader.
Thursday’s selection:
12:50 Exeter – Robinesse; 8/1 Ladbrokes
