Following an encouraging return to action at Haydock just 11 days ago STILLETTO (1:50) is fancied to make a winning debut over fences, in Catterick’s Come Racing New Year’s Day Beginners’ Chase.
Now with Paul Nicholls, the former winning Irish pointer won a maiden hurdle for Philip Hobbs at Chepstow last Christmas and remains open to plenty of improvement, after just three starts under rules.
The Westerner six-year-old is a keen going sort, so again sports a hood, and a clear round should suffice here.
