Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Monday; William H Bonney in the Plumpton 13:10. Compare odds and bet.
Alan King enjoyed a fantastic weekend, with Smad Place emphatically landing the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury on Saturday, and the trainer can take the opener at Plumpton on Monday with William H Bonney (1:10).
Runner-up to a couple of potentially smart prospects in bumpers, the four-year-old is likely to be difficult to beat if translating that form to hurdles on debut, having proven himself on soft ground at Fontwell earlier in the month.
The winner returned to that track to win on hurdles debut last week, while Mister Miyagi, who beat the selection on debut back in March, is two from two over hurdles for Dan Skelton. The Midnight Legend gelding can further enhance King’s fine record at the track (39% in recent seasons; 21 winners from 54 runners).
