Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; Bun Doran in the Chepstow 16:20. Compare odds and bet.
Another decent day of jumps action on Wednesday where the highlight appears to be the four-runner novices’ chase at Warwick; I’ve been a fan of Ballyalton for some time now and look forward to seeing how he fares on his return from injury.
There is another interesting chasing debutant down at Chepstow, in the shape of Imagine The Chat, who I’m pretty certain is well handicapped. I am hugely surprised to see him drop to 2m, however, and this makes him a watching brief this afternoon.
Later on the card, Sir Will sets a good standard in the concluding bumper but BUN DORAN (4:20) left a deep impression on me when winning his Irish point-to-point and he is worth chancing on his debut under rules.
A full brother to the smart Shantou Village, the imposing four-year-old scored by 14 lengths before being snapped up for £76,000 at Brightwells Sale in May. He looks an exciting recruit to the Tom George yard and a big run is expected.
Wednesday’s selection:
4:20 Chepstow – Bun Doran; 6/1 bet365
