Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; Thomas Crapper in the Towcester 16:00. Compare odds and bet.
Though he failed to win in eight starts over fences last term THOMAS CRAPPER (4:00) boasts some strong form in defeat and can get off the mark at Towcester today.
Robin Dickin’s eight-year-old probably needs an extra half-mile to be seen to best effect, but the form of his first three starts over fences (placed behind some smart horses over 2m) entitles him to be a short priced favourite here.
Though he faces the useful Minella Present, who is penalised for his Fontwell success during June, and Betfair Hurdle winner Violet Dancer, the Tamure gelding is fancied to strike under Charlie Poste.
The selection was trading at Evs overnight.
Thursday’s selection:
4:00 Towcester – Thomas Crapper; evens Betvictor
